About

Hi, my name is Lizzy (Anne) Rand (she/her/hers). I am a relational therapist who loves connection with others. My practice is rooted in a deep understanding of the complexities of human experience and the diverse factors that shape our mental and emotional health. I am here to encourage deep self-exploration, hold space for all your parts, thoughts, and emotions, and grow trust in your own inner knowing.

I strive to create a warm, open, and collaborative environment that respects your unique identity and personal history. I place a strong emphasis on social justice perspectives, understanding that systemic issues like oppression, discrimination, and marginalization play a significant role in our mental health. This requires self-reflection and self-work. I’m committed to listening with empathy, offering support without judgment, and promoting healing in ways that center your lived experiences.

I received my Bachelors in Social Work in 2014 and continued on to receive my Masters in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin in 2018. Throughout the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including community outpatient mental health, child welfare, IOP and PHP, hospital systems, integrated behavioral healthcare, and group psychotherapy practices. These experiences have shaped the clinician I am today and have been invaluable sources of wisdom.

I call both Wisconsin and Texas my home - which is why I am licensed in both states! Outside of the therapy space, you will find me listening to records, walking on nature trails, cooking vegan meals, thrifting, and having picnics with my spouse and baby.
